Install Komova in your assistant.
Bring your projects, Items and Forms into the conversation. The plugin bundles the MCP connection and the komova-work skill so your assistant knows how to work with Komova.
You need a Komova account. First add its marketplace, then install the plugin, and finally authorize your account. Adding only an MCP URL as a custom connector does not install the skill.

ChatGPT
Esta sección en españolThis route is for a managed workspace with plugins enabled. For a personal OpenAI account, follow the Codex route; this guide does not assume your personal account has an admin menu.
1. Your administrator imports the marketplace
- In workspace administration, open Admin → Plugins → Add → Import marketplace.
- For Source, paste the repository above. Leave Path empty: the catalog is at the root. Leave Branch empty to use the default branch.
- Import the marketplace. If OpenAI requests GitHub access for the import, complete this step with your administrator.
- Review Import results, open Komova and set Installation policy to Available or Installed for the relevant roles. Enable required apps if the platform lists any.
2. Install the plugin in your account
- Open ChatGPT desktop and choose the relevant workspace.
- In Plugins Directory, open your workspace tab, find Komova and install it.
- Authorize the Komova connection and start a new conversation with the plugin enabled.
This plugin requires the ChatGPT desktop app, even though the connection is remote. Importing from GitHub does not authorize access to your Komova data.

This is the local route for using the plugin with a personal OpenAI account. You need the Codex CLI installed and access to Codex in the OpenAI desktop app.
- In your terminal, add the marketplace with this command:
codex plugin marketplace add komova-app/marketplaceYou can copy it manually and run it in your terminal.- In the OpenAI desktop app, open Codex and Plugins Directory; select the Komova marketplace.
- Install Komova. If the marketplace does not appear, close and reopen the app.
- Authorize the Komova connection. Start a new chat and check that the plugin and the
komova-workskill are available.

- Authorize the connector. In a conversation, open the / menu, find
komova-workand check that the connector is enabled.

Start with a read
With the plugin enabled, send this message to check the connection without changing your projects:
Use Komova to list my Projects with their IDs. Do not create or change anything. You can also select and copy the message. If you receive your Projects, reads are connected. Also check that komova-work is available: an MCP connection alone does not confirm that the skill is installed.
If something is missing
I cannot see Plugins or Komova
Check your plan, app version and selected workspace. In a managed workspace, your administrator must import the marketplace and allow the plugin for your account. For a personal OpenAI account, follow Codex. Reopen the app after adding the marketplace.
I installed the plugin, but it cannot read my projects
Check the Komova authorization and that the connector is enabled in this chat. If you added only an MCP URL, install the full plugin to get komova-work too. In ChatGPT, use the desktop app for this package.
The connection asks me to authorize again
Reconnect from your assistant and confirm that you are using the correct Komova account. If it persists, email soporte@komova.app with your assistant, app version and error message, without credentials or codes.
